Louis A. Hawkins “Tony”

Mr. Hawkins graduated from Farmingdale State College in 1979. In 1982 he became a Workers’ Compensation Claims Investigator for New York State. In 1984 he became a Senior Investigator, investigating complex claims and death cases. In 1989 he was promoted to Supervising Investigator for New York State in Suffolk County. In 1996 Mr. Hawkins became a Senior Hearing Representative handling all aspects of Workers’ Compensation claims, including litigation and settlement conferences. In 2010 he was promoted to Suffolk County Claims Manager for New York State.

In 2012 Mr. Hawkins retired after 30 years of service with the New York State Insurance Fund. He has been a valued member of the staff at Miller & Caggiano, LLP. since 2012. He has handled thousands of Workers’ Compensation cases over the years and has lectured on Workers’ Compensation topics before various groups. His diversified experience has provided him with a unique perspective that benefits our clients in the handling of their claims.
