Biography

Bryan Schenkman, Esq. graduated summa cum laude from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2021. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2022. Mr. Schenkman graduated from Touro Law Center in the top ten of his class, earning seven CALI Excellence of the Future Awards for Academic Excellence in the studies of Torts, Criminal Procedure, Secured Transactions, Constitutional Law II, Arbitration, Negotiations, and Drafting Commercial Documents, as well as two Faculty Recognition Awards for Academic Excellence in Evidence and New York State Practice during his three years of law school.

In his second year of law school, Mr. Schenkman served as a junior staff member on the Touro Law Review and was elected to serve as Managing Editor of the Touro Law Review in his spring semester of that same year. He served as the Managing Editor of the Touro Law Review from June 2020-May 2021. During his time as Managing Editor, Mr. Schenkman was responsible for overseeing and conducting the final stages of the editorial process for both student and professional legal publications and spearheaded the expansion of the Law Review's online platform to include student centered publications, blogs, and podcasts. His tenure as Managing Editor earned him the Dean and Faculty Award for Exemplary Dedication and Service to Law Center for Exceptional Contributions to the Touro Law Review at graduation. His note, Does Due Process Have an Age Limit? Why the Law Concerning the Parental Right to Freedom of Intimate Association in the Relationship with an Adult Child Is a Mischaracterization of a Circuit Split, 37 TOURO L. REV: 1083 (2021), was published in the spring of 2021.

Mr. Schenkman interned at Miller & Caggiano, LLP. in the summer following his first year of law school and returned following his admission to practice law in the State of New York in 2022.
